ÆÞÓÑ the FAFU-Dal College

Established in April 2023, the FAFU-Dal Joint College is a formal partnership between Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University (FAFU) and ÆÞÓÑ, two institutions with deep roots in agricultural and environmental sciences. Our mission is to cultivate globally minded graduates with the skills to address 21st-century challenges in food security, sustainable design, and agribusiness.

Key Milestones

2003+

Launch of Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education Programs

  • Established cooperative programs with the University of British Columbia and ÆÞÓÑ in Canada, offering undergraduate programs in Horticulture, Agricultural Resources and Environment, among others.

April 2023

Official Approval of the Joint College

  • TheÌýFAFU-Dal Joint College, Fujian Agriculture and Forestry UniversityÌý(a non-independent legal entity secondary institution) was approved by the Ministry of Education. This marks a key milestone in the upgrading of the educational model.

2024

First Enrollment of the Joint College

  • Launched theÌý"4+0" modelÌýwith its first cohort. Initial programs:ÌýLandscape ArchitectureÌý(107 students) andÌýAgricultural and Forestry Economics and ManagementÌý(105 students).

2024+

"4+0" Model Implementation

  • Students complete their entire undergraduate studies in China with access to high-quality resources from both institutions.ÌýUpon meeting academic requirements, students are eligible to receive degrees from both universities.

Upon Program Completion

Graduation and Degree Conferral

  • After completing the 4-year program and meeting all requirements, students are awarded:ÌýGraduation Certificate and Bachelor's DegreeÌýfrom Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, and aÌýBachelor's DegreeÌýfrom ÆÞÓÑ (Canada).
