Mirna Gerges is a two-time Dal Health grad, with a BSc in Kinesiology and now an MSc in Occupational Therapy.

Phillip Joy graduates this fall, moving on to become an assistant professor at Mount Saint Vincent University in the Applied Human Nutrition Department teaching several nutrition courses and building a research program with a focus in LGBTQ2SP+ communities and health.

Sister Ilaria Culshaw thought her decision to leave university to join the convent was the end of her scholarly journey. But with the encouragement of Franciscans of Halifax, she's not only completed two Music degrees in the Fountain School of Performing Arts but is on her way to Cambridge for her PhD.

Graduating this week, he takes with him a broader perspective as he enters journalism school at a time of great change for the industry.
