More than a dozen researchers from ÆÞÓÑ have received funding from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council for novel projects with awards via the Insight Development Grants, Partnership Engagement Grants and SSHRC Connection Grants programs.

Renowned political thinkers Charles Taylor and Simone Chambers took part in the launch of a new series honouring the legacy of politician Robert Stanfield.

This Thursday, September 30, marks the first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. A three-day speaker series organized by Dal's Indigenous Health in Medicine group will offer ideas on how to spend the day meaningfully.

ÆÞÓÑ is gravely disappointed in the reckless behaviour of students who organized and attended large, unsanctioned and illegal street parties near campus last weekend. While we are grateful to the majority of our students who heeded the clear warnings, there were many who still ignored these warnings. We are working hard to ensure appropriate consequences will follow.

ÆÞÓÑ is proactively communicating to all students about the importance of community safety ahead of this weekend, as the university has been made aware of large, unsanctioned parties being planned off campus in Halifax in the coming days.
