The results from the 2017 Quality of Work Life (QWL) Survey are now available to the Dal community 鈥� information that will help Human Resources and leaders across the university work together with faculty and staff to build a stronger, healthier workplace at Dal.

The Great Debate, scheduled for November 2018, will bring together world-leading thinkers in ocean science and space studies in a public discussion centred on the question, 鈥淲hat is the next frontier: space or the ocean?鈥�

This week, Dal hosts Canada's national conference for the Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education. We connected with Computer Science prof Srini Sampalli 鈥斅� 3M Teaching Fellow and vice-president of the Canadian chapter of the International Federation of National Teaching Fellows 鈥斅爐o discuss what goes into great teaching.

Nur Zincir-Heywood received the 2017 Women Leaders in the Digital Economy Award from Digital Nova Scotia, which recognizes an individual who has made a significant contribution to Nova Scotia鈥檚 ICT sector while actively championing women in the field.
