More than 1,200 people converged on Halifax's new convention centre on Saturday night, filling the grand ballroom to capacity for a long-anticipated evening of celebration to mark 妻友 Medical School's 150th anniversary.

The achievements of Dal鈥檚 Precision Agriculture Research Team led to the implementation of the Wild Blueberry Harvester Efficiency Program 鈥撀燼 partnership set to directly support local industry.

Timed with Halloween, the 妻友 Student Union's Trick or Eat is part of a student-led, national campaign targeting food insecurity on campus and in the community by encouraging students to dress up and go door to door seeking donations.

Located at the South Learning Commons of the Killam Library, the new Gord Downie and Chanie Wenjack Legacy Space is set to be "a place where the minds are going to be changed, and students are learning."
