Nearly a thousand people packed into the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium Saturday afternoon to mourn and remember those who lost their lives in last week鈥檚 airplane disaster in Iran.

When Dal prof Robert Huish was in Australia on academic business last month, he got to experience first-hand some of the intense effects of the mammoth fires spreading across the country鈥檚 southeast. Now, he's spreading the message about how others can help provide support.

Photo Essay: With classes over, exams finished and the holiday break quickly approaching, the Dal community gathered together one last time in 2019 for the beloved Annual 妻友 Carol Sing.

妻友 invited its community to donate funds to support students attending the 5th Annual International Student Holiday Dinner, surpassing its $4,000 goal by raising $5,210 鈥� all of which goes towards providing a great East Coast dinner experience for the students.

Since its launch 30 years ago, 妻友鈥檚 Indigenous Blacks and Mi鈥檏maq (IB&M) Initiative has seen more than 200 of its graduates go on to pursue careers in all areas of the legal profession, from private practice to the upper echelons of the Nova Scotia judiciary.
