A celebration of life will be held for former听NSAC听professor听and听department听head Dr.听John听Bubar,听Saturday May 3, 2014 from听2-4pm听at the Colchester Community Funeral Home,听512 Willow St.,听Truro. An informal reception will follow at Ryan Duffy鈥檚 Wine Bar & Grill, 515 Prince St. at 4:30pm.
The Bubar family welcomes you to join them in celebrating John鈥檚 life. There will be an opportunity to share stories and exchange memories during the service, and the family encourages friends of John to speak if they would like to do so.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Dr. John Bubar Scholarship fund at the Faculty of Agriculture. This award, and its mandate to assist students attending the AC, was very important to John and the family feels that supporting this award is a fitting tribute to him.
