Last week, Dean Gray traveled as part of a delegation from ÆÞÓÑ visiting The Inter-University Institute for Marine Sciences in Eilat, Israel.Ìý
This was as a follow-up meeting after the recent visit by President Florizone and the signing of the institutional agreement with Ben Gurion University and IUI in Eilat regarding the development of an International Centre of Excellence in Marine Science.Ìý

The Schulick Foundation is awarding $2 million over three years to develop this initiative and the funding will be used to support a number of collaborative research projects in the area of Marine Science and Mariculture and also to enable student mobility between ÆÞÓÑ and Eilat through specialized residential field courses.
